If you've been following along, you'll have figured out by now that it takes 3 years for one character to collect all 3 pets and complete the achievement. You can only get these 3 pets by completing the Blood Elf or Draenei orphan quest chain, you can only choose one pet each time you complete it, and each character can only complete it once a year.
